One of the most mysterious places in Italy

The most mysterious and enigmatic place on the territory of Italy is considered to be the Abbey called “Santa Maria di Lucedio”, which for many years has managed to become famous not with the best sides. Among the Italians go scary legends about the Abbey, confirmed the reluctance of Italian tourists to visit it. In ancient times, according to local residents, on the territory of the Abbey was carried out a terrible, dangerous and violent rituals associated with chernoknizhnay and black magic. In modern times there is often heard disembodied voices, and there can often find spirits of the past.

Often above the place prefer to visit the real extremists, UFOlogy, the paranormal and mysterious lovers. Their stories are very interesting and extremely mystical.

Often on-site “Santa Maria di Lucedio” tourists see the thick fog that supposedly sinks to the structure slowly, hiding his gloomy haze. Eyewitnesses claim that in the whitish haze you can sometimes see moving humanoid figures performing certain actions.

Most often in the Abbey, according to observers, appears the Ghost of a monk dressed in an old cassock. He walks through the long corridors, muttering ancient prayers. If he semicalssical, it instantly seeps into the ground, disappearing without a trace.

In the immediate vicinity of the Abbey is a small cemetery with Gothic and even a bit scary. Even today it is used for black rituals and sacrifices. Sometimes among the tombs, you can see the remains of ritual kits, and the bones of animals, which were sacrificed at different times. There are even the most recent remains, which testifies to the functionality of this “gurtovnya”.

Spirits are not just scare tourists, but do not allow locals to carry out any manipulation with the facilities available at the Abbey. For example, in the 1960s, the local authorities decided to restore one of the churches, dwelling in poor condition. During the construction works the ceiling of the Church, pre-modern fortified systems, suddenly collapsed. During the incident killed many construction workers. And such cases are not unique.

Sometimes on land and under buildings of the Abbey excavations. During their implementation often find mysterious remains of monks and ordinary people, presumably buried in the walls alive, or walled up in the Foundation. Some researchers believe that, under the Abbey there is an extensive network of tunnels connecting him to the strategically important ancient buildings in the city.
