The most mysterious and enigmatic place on the territory of Italy is considered to be the Abbey called “Santa Maria di Lucedio”, which for many years has managed to become famous not with the best sides. In the immediate vicinity of the Abbey is a small cemetery with Gothic and even a bit scary. Even today it is used for black rituals and sacrifices. Spirits are not just scare tourists, but do not allow locals to carry out any manipulation with the facilities available at the Abbey. For example, in the 1960s, the local authorities decided to restore one of the churches, dwelling in poor condition. During the construction works the ceiling of the Church, pre-modern fortified systems, suddenly collapsed. During the incident killed many construction workers. And such cases are not unique.
Sometimes on land and under buildings of the Abbey excavations. During their implementation often find mysterious remains of monks and ordinary people, presumably buried in the walls alive, or walled up in the Foundation. Some researchers believe that, under the Abbey there is an extensive network of tunnels connecting him to the strategically important ancient buildings in the city.
